Eat the Best, Leave the Rest

Give a Hoot, Don’t Pollute

Kind Words on Protecting the Environment

We recognise that the protection of the environment is a particularly topical issue, so it is something that our customers take into consideration. The pandemic saw millions of people all over the world transition from working in the office to working remotely from home. For many, this was the first time, in a long time, that they slowed down enough to recognize the environment around them.

Skinni Snax supports initiatives that will not pollute or degrade the environment or natural resources. People around the world depend greatly on the natural environment for their health and livelihoods— especially people in developing countries. Environmental sustainability involves us making decisions and taking action that are in the interests of protecting the natural world, with particular emphasis on preserving the capability of the environment to support human life.

Skinni Snax supports developing countries to improve and sustainably manage their natural environment. We are making responsible decisions that will reduce negative impact on the environment and have moved towards more sustainable retailing. This extends to the introduction of recycled packaging and supporting local chickpea farmers and co-operatives. We are working on reducing our carbon footprint by focusing on waste reduction, resource efficiency, sustainability innovation and ecological sourcing. We are now looking at producing our snacks locally, to reduce our carbon foot print and contribute to the local economy.

Stock that has a short shelf life is offered to local charities and food banks in Europe and Africa. Expired stock is offered to local pig farmers in South Africa.

Our snacks are FREE FROM artificial colourants and additives, are GMO, MSG and Palm Oil free. Where commercially possible, will use recycable or recycled packaging.

Skinni Snax supports a circular economy that offers new ways to create a more sustainable economic growth model which is presently taking hold across the globe.

We support sustainable solutions and are looking to grow a sustainable business by incorporating circular economy principles into our strategies.
